How to bridge to Hyperliquid from Solana

Solana USDC can't be deposited directly. Send SOL instead, or bridge the USDC to Arbitrum first.

Short answer

The direct route is to deposit SOL on Solana to the Unit address shown under Deposit on app.hyperliquid.xyz: minimum 0.12 SOL, about 1 minute, then sell it for USDC on Hyperliquid's spot market. USDC on Solana is not accepted and fails if sent to that address. To bring USDC instead, bridge it to Arbitrum (Hyperliquid's docs list Mayan, deBridge, Relay and others) and deposit at least 5 USDC.

Two ways in from Solana

A. Direct deposit via UnitSOL on Solana0.12 SOLAbout 1 minuteSOL as a spot token on HyperliquidSell for USDC to trade perps
B. Bridge to ArbitrumUSDC (or SOL) on Solana → USDC on Arbitrum5 USDC on the Hyperliquid depositBridge time + under 1 minUSDCNeeds an Arbitrum-capable wallet and a little ETH for gas

Route A is usually simpler: one transfer, no second wallet, and you can sell the SOL for USDC on Hyperliquid in seconds.

Before you trade, set a referral code at app.hyperliquid.xyz/referrals for 4% off fees on your first $25M of volume. See our referral code page.

Route A: Deposit SOL directly

Unit, an independent team, runs the Solana, Bitcoin and Ethereum deposit addresses that appear in Hyperliquid’s deposit window.

  1. Connect at app.hyperliquid.xyz (any wallet, including Phantom’s EVM address, or email).
  2. Click Deposit and choose SOL.
  3. Copy the Solana deposit address. Check the estimated time shown in the window.
  4. From Phantom, Solflare or an exchange, send at least 0.12 SOL on the Solana network to that address.
  5. After about a minute, SOL appears in your spot balance. Hyperliquid’s API lists it as Unit Solana (USOL).
  6. To trade perps, sell it on the USOL/USDC spot market. At the entry tier, spot fees are 0.070% taker and 0.040% maker. The minimum order is $10.

Other Solana tokens the address accepts

TokenMinimum deposit
SOL0.12
2Z150
ANSEM60
BONK1,800,000
FARTCOIN55
PUMP5,500
SPX32

These minimums are from Hyperliquid’s support guide. Deposits below them are lost. Anything not on this list, including USDC and USDT, fails.

Route B: Bridge USDC from Solana to Arbitrum

Use this if you want to arrive with USDC and you have an EVM wallet that supports Arbitrum (Rabby, MetaMask and others; not Phantom, which doesn’t support Arbitrum).

  1. Bridge USDC from Solana to Arbitrum. Hyperliquid’s docs list bridges including swap.mayan.finance, app.debridge.finance, relay.link, jumper.exchange and app.across.to. These are third-party services with their own fees. Type the address yourself.
  2. Make sure you have a little ETH on Arbitrum for gas. Some bridges can deliver a small amount with your transfer.
  3. On app.hyperliquid.xyz, click Deposit, choose USDC, enter at least 5 USDC and confirm on Arbitrum.

Phantom users: what to know

Phantom works with Hyperliquid, and Hyperliquid’s docs list it as an interface on web, iOS and Android. The catch is Arbitrum:

  • You can’t deposit USDC from Phantom, because Phantom doesn’t support Arbitrum. Deposit SOL (Route A) instead, then sell it for USDC.
  • You need at least 1 USDC to withdraw. If your balance is in SOL or another token, sell some for USDC first; Hyperliquid’s docs note the $10 minimum order.
  • If you withdraw USDC to Arbitrum, Phantom won’t show it. The funds aren’t lost. Export Phantom’s Ethereum private key and import it into an Arbitrum-capable wallet like Rabby to see and move them.
  • Phantom may add its own fee to trades you place inside Phantom. The official app at app.hyperliquid.xyz adds none. See builder codes.

Getting SOL back out

Withdrawals of SOL go back through Unit to a Solana address. Use Withdraw on app.hyperliquid.xyz, choose SOL, and enter a Solana address you control. Don’t use Send: it only moves funds between Hyperliquid addresses. Details in how to withdraw.

Common mistakes

  • Sending USDC on Solana to the Solana deposit address. It fails. Unit’s revert tool (app.hyperunit.xyz/revert) may recover USDC, USDT or WSOL sent this way; other wrong assets generally can’t be recovered unless Unit adds support.
  • Sending SOL from a different chain (for example wrapped SOL on Ethereum or BNB Chain). Only native SOL on Solana works.
  • Depositing under 0.12 SOL. It’s lost.
  • Expecting USDC to appear in Phantom after a withdrawal. It’s on Arbitrum; see above.

If something goes wrong

  • Deposit shows “Failed” although you sent a supported token on Solana above the minimum: contact Unit at app.hyperunit.xyz/support. Unit is an independent team; Hyperliquid support can’t process it.
  • Wrong asset sent: try Unit’s revert tool (instructions at docs.hyperunit.xyz/how-to/revert).
  • Bridge transfer stuck: contact the bridge you used; Hyperliquid can’t see other chains.

Questions people ask

Can I deposit USDC from Solana to Hyperliquid?

Not directly. The Solana deposit address accepts SOL, 2Z, ANSEM, BONK, FARTCOIN, PUMP and SPX only. USDC, USDT or WSOL sent there fails, though Unit's revert tool may recover it. Bridge USDC to Arbitrum first, or send SOL and sell it.

What is the minimum SOL deposit on Hyperliquid?

0.12 SOL. Hyperliquid's support docs say deposits below the minimum result in a loss of funds.

Can I use Phantom with Hyperliquid?

Yes. Phantom can connect and trade, but it doesn't support Arbitrum, so you can't deposit or receive USDC on Arbitrum inside Phantom. Hyperliquid's docs suggest depositing SOL and selling it, or exporting Phantom's Ethereum private key into a wallet like Rabby.

How long does a Solana deposit to Hyperliquid take?

About 1 minute, according to Hyperliquid's support guide. The deposit window shows a live estimate.
