Short answer

The cheapest place to trade Hyperliquid is the official app, which adds no builder fee. Among third-party terminals, Insilico Terminal and Axiom add the least, 1 bp (0.01%) per fill, followed by HyperDash (1.5 bps), Based (2.5 bps), pvp.trade (up to 4 bps), Pear Protocol (6 bps to open and 6 to close) and Dexari (10 bps listed at its entry tier), per their docs checked November 4, 2026.

The short answer

If cost is what matters, trade on the official app: it adds no builder fee. If you want better tools, the cheapest third-party terminals are Insilico Terminal and Axiom at 1 bp. HyperDash (1.5 bps) adds positioning data and copy trading, Based (2.5 bps) adds phone apps, pvp.trade puts trading in Telegram, Pear trades pairs and baskets, and Dexari is a full-featured phone app.

All of them route orders to HyperCore, Hyperliquid’s trading engine and order book, so prices, liquidity and liquidation rules are the same. Each adds a builder fee: an extra charge on every fill that you approve once, capped by Hyperliquid at 0.1% on perps.

Official Hyperliquid app

Who it’s for: anyone who doesn’t need extra tools. Connect an EVM wallet at app.hyperliquid.xyz (or use the Google Play app) and you pay only Hyperliquid’s fee schedule: 0.045% taker and 0.015% maker at the entry tier. Get the address from our official links page.

Insilico Terminal

Who it’s for: active traders who want serious execution tools and one screen for Hyperliquid plus centralized exchanges such as Binance, Bybit and OKX. The terminal is free; on Hyperliquid its docs say “the builder fee on Hyperliquid is 1bps”, and onchain fills on November 2, 2026 matched. API keys are stored encrypted in your browser. Insilico dossier.

Axiom

Who it’s for: Solana memecoin traders who want leveraged perps without moving funds to another app. Axiom’s docs say it takes 0.01% per transaction on perps, and you fund them by converting SOL to USDC on Hyperliquid inside Axiom. Its perps docs are about a year old, so confirm fees in the app. Axiom dossier.

HyperDash

Who it’s for: traders who want positioning data next to the order book. HyperDash, at hyperdash.com (hyperdash.info was its old domain), charges 1.5 bps on perps including HIP-3, 3 bps on spot and prediction markets, and up to 5 bps on copy trading. It signs orders through an API wallet, so approve agents only on the real site. HyperDash dossier.

Based

Who it’s for: traders who want a pro terminal and a phone app on the same account. Based documents 2.5 bps on perps, 0.2 bps on growth-mode perps and 0.1% on spot sells, and staking its BASED token cuts the builder fee by 30% to 100%. Agent wallets can’t withdraw; withdrawals need your main wallet. Based dossier.

pvp.trade

Who it’s for: crypto-native traders who live in Telegram. You trade with commands such as /long and /short in a DM or group chat. Its Fee Tiers page sets 2.5 to 4 bps at level 1, falling with XP level, volume and leverage; onchain fills on November 2, 2026 clustered at 3.5 to 4 bps. Anyone who takes over your Telegram can trade, so turn on its passkey 2FA. pvp.trade dossier.

Pear Protocol

Who it’s for: traders who think in spreads, such as long SOL against short ETH. Pear charges 0.06% of total position size to open and 0.06% to close, once across all legs, and always fills as a taker. Legs fill separately, so each can get a different price. Pear doesn’t publish its builder address, so we couldn’t check its rate onchain. Pear dossier.

Dexari

Who it’s for: phone-first traders who want a full set of order types. Dexari’s fee page lists 0.10% on perps under $500k of 30-day volume, down to 0.01% above $10M. On November 2, 2026, 97% of its core-perp builder volume paid 3 bps, but HIP-3 fills paid 10 bps. Dexari itself hasn’t had a third-party audit. Dexari dossier.

How we compared

We ordered terminals by their perps builder fee, lowest first, using each project’s documented rate (for pvp.trade, the 4 bps ceiling of its level-1 range; for Dexari, its entry-tier listing). Where Hyperliquid’s public builder-fill archive for November 2, 2026 showed something different, we say so. Platform, features and audit notes come from each project’s own docs, checked November 4, 2026. We never rank by who pays us, and referral relationships don’t change the order.

Every terminal here gives you leverage, and a liquidation can take your whole margin. Read how perpetual futures work, compare all front ends in Hyperliquid front ends compared, and model your costs in the fee calculator. Hyperliquid’s terms restrict the US and Ontario whichever terminal you use.
