Is Hyperliquid down?
Five independent checks, run live from your browser, next to Hyperliquid's own status page and the documented withdrawal times.
At our last check (10:15 UTC, November 5, 2026) Hyperliquid was up: the HyperCore API answered in 290 ms, the last BTC fill was 3 s old and HyperEVM's latest block was under 1 s old. Hyperliquid's own status page said "All Systems Operational". The checks below re-run live in your browser.

Hyperliquid's own status page
Hyperliquid runs a status page at hyperliquid.statuspage.io, and the official app loads its status widget. It lists three components and Hyperliquid's own incident reports. Our checks below are separate and run on their own.

Withdrawal and deposit times
These are the times and fees Hyperliquid documents. The withdrawal window in the app shows the current estimate; trust that over any page, including this one.
| Route | Typical time | Fee and limits |
|---|---|---|
| Withdraw USDC to Arbitrum | About 5 minutes (bridge docs: 3–4) | $1 fee; no Arbitrum gas needed (validators submit it) |
| Deposit USDC from Arbitrum (connected wallet) | Under 1 minute | Arbitrum gas only. Minimum 5 USDC; smaller deposits are lost |
| Deposit USDC (email login) | Not stated in the docs | USDC on Arbitrum, Base, Ethereum or Polygon via Across Protocol. Under 5 USDC is sent back to your email wallet; under 1 USDC is lost |
| BTC, ETH, SOL and other spot assets | Shown in the window | Handled by Unit, an independent team; its fee shows before you confirm |
Step-by-step: how to withdraw from Hyperliquid and how to deposit USDC.
Why withdrawals can be slow
- The bridge waits on purpose. A USDC withdrawal is signed by validators holding 2/3 of stake, then sits in the Arbitrum bridge contract for a dispute period, during which designated lockers can freeze the bridge if something looks wrong. The contract reported a 200-second dispute period on November 5, 2026. That wait is most of the normal ~5 minutes.
- Congestion. If the Deposits & Withdrawals table on your Portfolio page says Pending past the estimate, Hyperliquid's docs say the network is congested and the withdrawal will still be processed.
- It was a Send, not a Withdrawal. If the Action column says "Send USDC" or "Send Spot", the funds went to another Hyperliquid address, not to another chain. Sent to an exchange address, only that exchange can recover them.
- The asset goes through Unit. BTC, ETH and SOL withdrawals are handled by Unit. If one shows Failed, the docs point to Unit's Telegram group (t.me/hyperunit).
- The bridge itself is paused. The live board checks this. A paused bridge halts deposits and withdrawals through it until the validators unlock it.
Where Hyperliquid posts outages
The status page carries Hyperliquid's incident reports; announcements go out on its official X, Telegram and Discord channels. Hyperliquid's support guide says support only happens through Discord's open-ticket channel; anyone who DMs you offering help is not Hyperliquid.
- Hyperliquid status pageHyperliquid's own component status and incident history. The official app at app.hyperliquid.xyz loads this page's status widget (checked November 4, 2026).
- X (Hyperliquid)Official Hyperliquid X account.
- Telegram announcementsOfficial Telegram announcements channel.
- DiscordOfficial Discord. Support only happens through the 'open-ticket' channel; the docs warn not to answer DMs. The Discord API resolves invite 'hyperliquid' to guild 'Hyperliquid' (id 1029781241702129716, ~93k members on 2026-11-04).

How these checks work
Your browser calls Hyperliquid's public endpoints directly; nothing goes through our servers. Each check has a plain pass mark:
- HyperCore API: a
metarequest toapi.hyperliquid.xyz/infomust return the market list. Over 1.5 seconds counts as degraded. The time includes your own connection. - Trading engine: the newest BTC perp fill from
recentTrades. BTC trades every few seconds, so no fill for 60 seconds is degraded and 5 minutes is a problem. We also readexchangeStatus, which flags special exchange states. - HyperEVM: the latest block from
rpc.hyperliquid.xyz/evm. HyperEVM makes a small block about every second; a block older than 60 seconds is degraded. - USDC bridge: the Bridge2 contract (
0x2df1c51e09aecf9cacb7bc98cb1742757f163df7) on Arbitrum, read through Arbitrum's public RPC:paused(), its dispute period and the USDC it holds. Hyperliquid's developer docs now call it the legacy bridge and point to Circle's CCTP for minting USDC on Hyperliquid. If Arbitrum's RPC doesn't answer, the check shows "Not checked" rather than blaming Hyperliquid. - Validators:
validatorSummaries. Hyperliquid's consensus needs more than 2/3 of stake online, so the check fails if active, unjailed validators hold less than that. Per-validator detail is on our staking data page.
The board refreshes every 60 seconds while this tab is visible. Without JavaScript you see the snapshot from our last site build (the site rebuilds about every 2 hours), dated above. A green board means these endpoints answered; it can't see problems in a specific wallet, front end or app.
Questions people ask
Is Hyperliquid down right now?
The live board at the top of this page checks the HyperCore API, the trading engine (time since the last BTC fill), HyperEVM blocks, the Arbitrum USDC bridge and validators from your browser every 60 seconds. At our last build check (10:15 UTC, November 5, 2026) all of them passed. Hyperliquid's own status page is hyperliquid.statuspage.io.
Why are Hyperliquid withdrawals slow?
A USDC withdrawal to Arbitrum needs signatures from validators holding 2/3 of stake, then waits out the bridge contract's dispute period (200 seconds on November 5, 2026) before release, so about 5 minutes is normal. If it says Pending well past the estimate, Hyperliquid's docs say the network is congested and it will still be processed.
How long do Hyperliquid withdrawals take?
About 5 minutes for USDC to Arbitrum, with a $1 fee and no Arbitrum gas, according to Hyperliquid's API docs (its bridge page says 3 to 4 minutes). BTC, ETH and SOL withdraw through Unit, which shows its own time and fee in the withdrawal window.
How long do Hyperliquid deposits take?
USDC sent from Arbitrum to the bridge is credited in under a minute, per Hyperliquid's docs. The minimum is 5 USDC: smaller deposits from a connected wallet are not credited and are lost.
