Short answer

pump.fun, the Solana memecoin launchpad, added leveraged perpetual futures that route orders to Hyperliquid in mid-October 2026, according to Bankless and Bitcoin.com. We could not check pump.fun's own fee page, so read the fee shown in the app before you trade. pump.fun has announced trading on Kinetiq's Elysium starting November 9, 2026; that is not live yet.

What pump.fun Perps is

pump.fun is a Solana memecoin launchpad and trading app. In mid-October 2026 it switched on leveraged perpetual futures inside the app. Bankless reported it on October 16 and Bitcoin.com cited updated terms dated October 17. Both say orders route to Hyperliquid through builder codes: pump.fun is the interface, and HyperCore (Hyperliquid’s trading engine and order book) does the matching, margin and liquidations.

Its iOS app is published by MAIUS IMPERIUM LIMITED and says wallet services are provided by Privy. Bankless also reported that pump.fun added HyperEVM spot trading in August 2026. HyperEVM is Hyperliquid’s smart-contract chain.

pump.fun’s own pages blocked our automated checks, so this dossier relies on press reports for the launch and on pump.fun’s X account for the Elysium news. Treat details below as reported unless we say otherwise.

What it costs

A front end like pump.fun earns through a builder fee: an extra charge on each fill that you approve with a signature. Hyperliquid caps it at 0.1% on perps.

We could not verify pump.fun’s builder fee. Its fee page returned a Cloudflare challenge to us on November 4, 2026. Secondary reports put the perps fee somewhere between 0.04% and 0.10% per order, plus up to 0.25% on transfers to or from Hyperliquid, but they disagree with each other and we couldn’t confirm any of them. pump.fun’s builder address isn’t public, so we couldn’t measure the rate onchain either.

On $10,000 of taker volume, Hyperliquid’s part is $4.50. Every 0.01% pump.fun adds costs another $1.00, so at Hyperliquid’s 0.1% cap the total would be $14.50. Read the fee line shown in the app before you confirm, and use the fee calculator with that number.

How to use it

  1. Use pump.fun in the browser or the iOS app, and check the publisher (MAIUS IMPERIUM LIMITED) before installing.
  2. Open the perps section and read each signature request: the first use asks you to approve a builder fee and set up your Hyperliquid account.
  3. Move USDC to Hyperliquid, noting any transfer fee the app shows.
  4. Pick a market, direction, leverage and size, then check the fee and liquidation price before confirming.
  5. Withdraw back to your wallet when you’re done.

Risks and limits

  • Leverage on memecoin habits. Liquidation can take your whole margin in minutes. pump.fun’s leverage limits weren’t on any page we could check, so read them in the app. Start with how perpetual futures work.
  • Unverified fees. Sources conflict, and transfer fees may apply on top of trading fees.
  • What you sign. The first-use signatures approve a fee and change settings on your Hyperliquid account. You can revoke a builder-fee approval later.
  • Region limits. Reports say the US and Ontario are excluded, and Hyperliquid’s terms restrict both.

Elysium: announced, not live

On October 28, 2026, pump.fun posted “Pumpfun App x @Enter_Elysium … Trading starts November 9”. Elysium is the new chain from Kinetiq. As of November 4 this is an announcement only, and pump.fun hasn’t said whether it covers perps or just spot. See our Elysium page for what is confirmed.

Who it suits, and alternatives

pump.fun Perps suits existing pump.fun users who want leverage without leaving the app and are willing to read fees at the point of signing. If you want a published fee, Axiom documents 1 bp, Phantom 5 bps, and the official app charges no builder fee. fomo is the closest social-app alternative. Compare them in Hyperliquid front ends compared.

Questions people ask

How much does pump.fun charge on perps?

We could not verify it. pump.fun's fee page blocked our checks on November 4, 2026, secondary reports disagree, and pump.fun's builder address isn't public, so we couldn't measure it onchain either. Does pump.fun run its own perps exchange?

Is pump.fun trading on Elysium live?

Not as of November 4, 2026. pump.fun posted on October 28, 2026 that trading on Elysium, Kinetiq's new chain, starts November 9, 2026.

Can US users trade pump.fun perps?

Reports say users in the US and Ontario are excluded. Hyperliquid's own terms also restrict the US and Ontario.
