Rabby Perps (Hyperliquid)
Hyperliquid perps inside the Rabby wallet: what the 0.04% builder fee adds, what Rabby does and doesn't document, and when the official app is cheaper.
Rabby Perps is the perpetual-futures feature inside Rabby Wallet, and Rabby's help center says it is powered by Hyperliquid. Rabby documents a 0.04% builder fee on top of Hyperliquid's own fees, so a taker trade costs 0.085% at the entry tier. On November 2, 2026, 92% of Rabby's core-perp builder volume and 99.6% of its HIP-3 volume paid exactly 4 bps.

What Rabby Perps is
Rabby is an EVM wallet for browser extension, desktop and mobile, known for simulating transactions before you sign them. Its iOS app is published by OPCODE LABS PTE. LTD. Rabby’s help center has a Perps collection (“Trade perpetual contracts directly within Rabby”) and says the feature is powered by Hyperliquid. Your orders go to HyperCore, Hyperliquid’s trading engine and order book, and Rabby sends them for you.
Perps code is public in both the extension repository (including a desktop “Perps Pro” view) and the rabby-mobile repository. DefiLlama has tracked Rabby’s builder since August 28, 2025. Rabby’s volume leans unusually hard on HIP-3, the permissionless perp markets run by deployers who stake 500,000 HYPE (for example stock and commodity perps). On November 2, 2026, Rabby’s builder volume was $16.7M on HIP-3 against $13.3M on core perps.
What it costs
Rabby earns through a Hyperliquid builder code, an extra fee added to each fill that you approve once.
| Cost | Rabby Perps | Official Hyperliquid app |
|---|---|---|
| Builder fee (perps and HIP-3) | 0.04% (4 bps) | none |
| Taker fee, entry tier, all-in | 0.085% | 0.045% |
| Maker fee, entry tier, all-in | 0.055% | 0.015% |
On $10,000 of taker volume that is about $8.50 through Rabby ($4.50 to Hyperliquid plus $4.00 to Rabby), against $4.50 on the official app. Hyperliquid’s part follows its own tiered model: 14-day volume tiers, HYPE-staking discounts and maker rebates. Those discounts, and the 4% referral discount, apply to Hyperliquid’s part only, not to Rabby’s 0.04%. Try other sizes in the fee calculator.
The documented rate matched what we saw onchain. On November 2, 2026, 92.2% of Rabby’s core-perp builder volume and 99.6% of its HIP-3 volume paid exactly 4 bps; the rest paid 2 bps.
How to use it
- Install Rabby (browser extension from rabby.io, or the mobile app) and create or import a wallet.
- Open the Perps section and deposit USDC to your Hyperliquid account.
- Approve Rabby’s builder fee when prompted.
- Choose a market, direction, size and leverage, check the liquidation price, and confirm.
- Close positions and withdraw from the same Perps view.
Risks and limits
- Leverage. Liquidation can take your whole margin, and Hyperliquid’s mark price decides when that happens. Read how perpetual futures work and how funding rates work first.
- Thin documentation. Rabby’s Perps help collection has one article, on fees. Rabby doesn’t publish maximum leverage or a list of restricted regions for Perps, so check what the app shows.
- HIP-3 markets carry deployer risk. The deployer of a HIP-3 market can halt or delist it. See HIP-3 market data.
- Region limits. Hyperliquid’s own terms restrict the US and Ontario, whichever interface you use.
Who it suits, and alternatives
Rabby Perps suits DeFi users who already keep funds in Rabby and want Hyperliquid perps without connecting to a separate site. The 0.04% is mid-range for a wallet: MetaMask charges 10 bps and Phantom 5 bps. If you want the lowest cost, connect Rabby to the official app (no builder fee), or try a terminal such as Based (2.5 bps). Compare all of them in best Hyperliquid wallets and Hyperliquid front ends compared.
Rabby doesn’t appear to run a referral or affiliate program for Perps; its fee article mentions only Hyperliquid’s own referral rewards.
