Kinetiq's Elysium L2 sets mainnet launch for November 9
Elysium, a Layer 2 network built by Kinetiq that settles to HyperEVM and uses HYPE for gas, is scheduled to launch its mainnet on 9 November 2026, according to a Kinetiq blog post of 20 October. As of 3 November its documentation still described Elysium as pre-launch, with the mainnet chain ID to be published at launch.
This is scheduled for Nov 9, 2026 and has not happened yet. Details can change before then.
What is scheduled
Elysium is an Arbitrum Orbit chain, a Layer 2 that batches its transactions and settles them on another chain, here HyperEVM (Hyperliquid’s smart-contract chain, chain ID 999). It uses HYPE, bridged one-to-one, to pay network fees. Kinetiq, best known for the kHYPE liquid-staking token, builds it. Kinetiq confirmed the 9 November date in a blog post on 20 October, a day after Elysium’s own X account announced it; the technical documentation itself does not give a date.
The docs say the launch covers the canonical bridge, a mirror bridge and what Kinetiq calls the HyperCore graduation path. At launch the chain runs a single sequencer (the operator that orders transactions), and withdrawals back to HyperEVM go through an optimistic challenge period, so they are not instant.
What comes later
Reading and writing HyperCore (Hyperliquid’s trading engine) directly from Elysium is not in the first release. The docs schedule it for an ArbOS upgrade “about four weeks after mainnet”. Kinetiq’s August blog post set out a sequencer-fee split of 50% to KNTQ buybacks, 25% to builders and 25% to its treasury; the current docs mention only a builders’ allocation, without percentages.
Apps have announced day-one plans: Bankless reports that the Nest DEX is listed as live from the first block and that Speculate and Dawn have committed to mainnet, and Pump.fun says it will add Elysium trading on 9 November.
What to watch for
Until mainnet is live, the chain ID and explorer are unpublished, so treat any “mainnet bridge” offered before launch with suspicion. Use only links from Kinetiq’s own channels; see our Elysium guide and official links. We will update this entry when mainnet goes live.
How we verify: every entry is checked against a primary source (the project's or regulator's own announcement, docs or filing), Hyperliquid's public API, or at least two independent reputable outlets before it is published. Hyperliquid's terms restrict access from the United States, Ontario and other places; nothing here says otherwise. All news
