trade.xyz lists India's Nifty 50 as a 24/7 perp on Hyperliquid
trade.xyz opened a perpetual market on India's Nifty 50 stock index on Hyperliquid on 27 October 2026, ticker xyz:NIFTY. It offers up to 20x leverage on isolated margin, trades around the clock and settles gains and losses in USDC.
What happened
trade.xyz announced on X that “NIFTY is now live” with 20x leverage, 24/7. Hyperliquid’s own market data confirms it: xyz:NIFTY lists a 20x maximum, isolated margin only, and growth mode switched on, which cuts all-in trading fees by 90% or more. Its first daily candle opened at 23,799 index points on 27 October.
The contract references the index level in Indian rupees with no currency conversion; profit and loss is paid in USDC. Around the same time trade.xyz also added perps on Reliance Industries (xyz:RELIANCE) and Jio Platforms (xyz:JIO), recorded in our on-chain listing card.
What it means for traders
The market keeps trading when India’s National Stock Exchange is closed, including weekends and holidays. Off-hours prices come from trading on Hyperliquid and can drift away from the last official index level, then jump back when the exchange reopens. Isolated margin means only the margin you put on the position backs it, so it is liquidated sooner than a cross-margin position would be.
The contract gives no ownership of Indian shares and is not an NSE product. trade.xyz’s terms restrict residents of the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom; the launch did not address Indian residents’ eligibility under Indian rules. Every trade.xyz market is on the market board.
