Hyperliquid Strategies (PURR) raises buyback to $100M, sets Nov. 5 results webcast
Hyperliquid Strategies Inc (NASDAQ: PURR) said on 23 October 2026 that its board raised the company's stock repurchase program from $30 million to up to $100 million, with about $72 million still available, and extended it to 31 October 2027. The company will present results for the quarter ended 30 September 2026 on a webcast on Thursday 5 November at 5:15 p.m. ET (22:15 UTC).
What happened
Hyperliquid Strategies calls itself “the premier digital asset treasury platform focused on the Hyperliquid ecosystem”: a Nasdaq-listed company that holds HYPE, Hyperliquid’s native token, as its treasury asset. Its board authorized an increase in the stock repurchase program from $30 million to up to $100 million and moved the end date from 5 December 2026 to 31 October 2027. The release says about $72 million remains available under the larger authorization.
Repurchases can happen in the open market or in private deals, and the company says the timing and size are at management’s discretion and that the program can be suspended at any time. The release does not say how many shares have been bought back so far, and it does not give a current HYPE holdings figure.
What is scheduled
The company will host a live audio webcast with Q&A on Thursday 5 November 2026 at 5:15 p.m. Eastern Time (22:15 UTC) to present financial and operating results for the quarter ended 30 September 2026. CEO David Schamis and CFO Brett Beldner will speak. Registration is through the link in the release, and a replay will be posted on the company’s investor site. Its fiscal year ends on 30 June, so this is its first quarter of fiscal 2027.
Why it matters to Hyperliquid users
PURR is one of the few ways to get exposure to HYPE through a US stock exchange, alongside the HYPE exchange-traded products; see Hyperliquid Strategies and HYPE ETFs. A share buyback does not buy HYPE; it reduces the number of PURR shares outstanding. We will add the results here once they are published.
How we verify: every entry is checked against a primary source (the project's or regulator's own announcement, docs or filing), Hyperliquid's public API, or at least two independent reputable outlets before it is published. Hyperliquid's terms restrict access from the United States, Ontario and other places; nothing here says otherwise. All news
