What Project X is
Project X is a decentralized exchange (DEX) on HyperEVM, Hyperliquid’s smart-contract chain, at prjx.com. DefiLlama lists it as a DEX on Hyperliquid L1, with TVL data starting July 16, 2025 and about $35.2M locked on Nov 4, 2026. DefiLlama also counted about $1.39M in fees over the 30 days to that date.
The live app has four sections: Swap, Liquidity, Portfolio and Cashdrop. Its front-end code defines Uniswap-v3-style fee tiers and tick spacings, which points to concentrated liquidity: liquidity providers (LPs) choose a price range for their deposit and earn fees only while the price trades inside it. The code also routes cross-chain swaps through the LI.FI aggregator and includes a referral-code and points system.
What it costs
Project X publishes no fee page. Each pool has one fee tier, and the app’s code supports 0.01%, 0.02%, 0.03%, 0.04%, 0.05%, 0.10%, 0.15%, 0.20%, 0.30%, 1% and 2%. How much of each fee goes to LPs versus the protocol is not documented. You also pay HyperEVM gas in HYPE.
How to use it
- Get assets onto HyperEVM. HYPE on HyperCore (Hyperliquid’s trading engine) moves over with “Transfer to EVM” in the Hyperliquid app.
- Open prjx.com/swap and connect your wallet. Check the URL first; the official links page explains how to verify a site.
- Swap, checking the pool’s fee tier, the price impact and your slippage setting before you confirm.
- To provide liquidity, go to Liquidity, pick a pool and fee tier, and set a price range.
- Track positions under Portfolio and check Cashdrop for rewards.
What isn’t published
As of Nov 4, 2026, Project X had not published:
- documentation (docs.prjx.com did not resolve),
- a team or company name, or a launch date,
- audit reports or a list of auditors,
- contract addresses, admin or upgrade controls,
- the LP versus protocol fee split,
- rules for points, referrals or Cashdrop.
Risks
- Unverifiable contracts. Without docs or audits, you can’t confirm who controls the contracts or whether they can be upgraded or paused.
- LP risk. Concentrated positions suffer impermanent loss (ending up with more of the falling token) and earn nothing when the price leaves your range.
- Cross-chain routing through LI.FI adds bridge and aggregator risk.
- Rewards are uncertain. Points and Cashdrop have no published rules, so treat any reward as unconfirmed.
- Thin tokens. Long-tail HyperEVM tokens can carry high slippage and scam-token risk; check contract addresses.
Who it suits, and alternatives
Project X suits traders who want a liquid HyperEVM swap venue and accept limited public disclosure. HyperSwap publishes its fee split, contract addresses and PeckShield audits. For swapping staking tokens such as kHYPE or stHYPE, Valantis STEX is built for that job.
