Short answer

HypurrScan (hypurrscan.io) is an independent, community-run block explorer for Hyperliquid, covering both HyperCore (the trading chain) and HyperEVM (the smart-contract chain). Hyperliquid's docs list it under explorers alongside the official explorer at app.hyperliquid.xyz/explorer and Flowscan. It charges no trading fee because it doesn't route orders.

What HypurrScan is

HypurrScan is a third-party block explorer for Hyperliquid. Its page title still reads “HypurrScan Beta”. It reads Hyperliquid’s public API and presents the data as searchable pages for both halves of the network:

  • HyperCore, Hyperliquid’s trading engine and order-book chain: addresses, blocks, transactions, TWAPs, vaults and staking.
  • HyperEVM, Hyperliquid’s smart-contract chain: transactions, contracts, tokens and NFTs, with transaction simulation and tracing.

It goes further than a plain explorer. The app includes address bundles (group several wallets into one view), vault analytics, lending (BLP) markets, a validator page, a leaderboard, a live feed and a customizable dashboard with liquidation and trade widgets. It also has HIP-3 dex pages listing each deployer’s markets and social links, and deploy tools for HIP-3 perps and HIP-4 outcome markets (/deployPerp, /deployOutcome).

Hyperliquid’s docs list HypurrScan under Explorers alongside the official explorer (app.hyperliquid.xyz/explorer) and Flowscan. That listing is a pointer, not an endorsement, and HypurrScan is not run by Hyperliquid.

What it costs

Browsing is free. HypurrScan doesn’t place trades, so it has no builder fee (the extra per-fill fee that trading apps add on Hyperliquid). Its site mentions signing in for “premium API rates” and API tiers, but we found no published prices.

Its “Support Me” link is a Hyperliquid referral with the code HYPURRSCAN. Under Hyperliquid’s standard program, anyone who signs up through a referral gets 4% off fees on their first $25M of volume, and the referrer earns a share of their fees. That is HypurrScan’s own code, unrelated to this site.

How to use it

  1. Type hypurrscan.io yourself and bookmark it.
  2. Paste an address, transaction hash or block number into search to look it up on HyperCore. Use the /evm section for HyperEVM.
  3. Group wallets you watch into a bundle, or build a dashboard with liquidation and trade widgets.
  4. Browse the HIP-3 dex pages to see which markets each deployer runs. Our HIP-3 data page gives a volume view.
  5. For testnet activity, use test.hypurrscan.io.

A common use: after a deposit or withdrawal, paste your address to confirm the funds arrived. Explorers show balances; they can’t move or recover funds.

Risks

  • Third-party data. HypurrScan isn’t operated by Hyperliquid, and its labels and aliases come from community metadata and can be wrong. For anything that matters (a missing deposit, a disputed fill), check Hyperliquid’s official explorer too.
  • Wallet connections. Some features, such as account login and the HIP-3/HIP-4 deploy tools, connect a wallet. Read-only lookups never need a signature. Only sign transactions you understand, and only on hypurrscan.io.
  • Beta software. The site labels itself beta, so pages and APIs may change.
  • Impersonation. Scammers copy explorer and exchange domains. Hyperliquid’s support guide warns about lookalikes such as “hyperliguid.xyz”. Check official links and never paste a seed phrase into any site.

Who it suits, and alternatives

HypurrScan suits anyone who wants to check a Hyperliquid wallet, trace a HyperEVM transaction, or watch HIP-3 markets without logging into an exchange. If you want positioning analytics and the ability to trade from the same screen, HyperDash is the closer fit, though it charges a builder fee on trades. The official explorer at app.hyperliquid.xyz/explorer is the primary source, and Flowscan is another listed explorer. New to the network? Start with what Hyperliquid is.

Is HypurrScan official?

No. HypurrScan is an independent explorer. Hyperliquid's docs list it under explorers next to Hyperliquid's own explorer at app.hyperliquid.xyz/explorer and Flowscan.

Does HypurrScan cover HyperEVM?

Yes. Besides HyperCore addresses, blocks and transactions, it has /evm pages for HyperEVM transactions, addresses, contracts, tokens and NFTs, plus transaction simulation and tracing.

Does HypurrScan cost anything?

Browsing is free and HypurrScan adds no trading fee, because it doesn't route orders. Its site mentions premium API rates and API tiers, but no prices are published.
